¹ An Atlas of Buildings is a computer-generated poem based on the structure of “A House of Dust” by Alison Knowles. The poem is comprised of index categories of the architecture archive website, Divisare, and composed with a randomized algorithm. By using found vocabulary, structure and tectonics, the generated stanzas suggest an infinite number of themes that can be juxtaposed upon architecture. Not all of them are poetic, or architectural, which is true about most poems and architecture.
